Form). Reinstituted 1 September 1939. (1940 1945 issue). Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, situated above a trapezoidal plaque bearing a raised date of 1939 on a pebbled field, the reverse with a block hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics
