This is a fine quality example of the classic Japanese 1897 (type 30) Arisaka rifle bayonet complete with fullered 15" blade. Hooked quillon cross guard and wood grip scales, this bayonet comes with a correct heavily blued all steel scabbard. Used extensively by the Japanese until the close of WWII. Designed to fit all their models of service rifles with the exception of the 1911 (type 44)
