A 42Nd Infantry Battalion "Royal Highlanders Of Canada" Glengarry Badge, C.1915 Auction and France: United Nations KoreaIn browning copper, measuring 58. 8 mm (w) x 72 mm (h), both lugs intact, cleaned, greening and residue evident on the reverse, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Montreal, Quebec under the authority of G. O. 86, July 1, 1915. The headquarters on mobilization was also Montreal. The Battalion sailed June 10, 1915 with a strength of 45 officers and 978 other ranks under the command of Lieutenant Colonel G. S. Cantlie. The
