This is a very nice example of an early WWI small size dark blue canvas covered Model 1877 French 1 liter canteen, complete with the original cover and full length leather shoulder strap. Amazingly, the cork stopper and wood plug are both present. Overall condition of the canteen and cover is very good. The leather carry strap is complete and supple. This is the first 1 liter example we have offered. Ready to
