This is a lovely British Flintlock "Walking" Pistol, clearly marked on the lock with HAMPTON & SON, a known London firm that looks to have made flintlock pistols during the early 19th Century. We have unfortunately not been able to find much in the way of details about the firm, but that is often the case for this period. It looks to be all original, except for the period applied 3 inch long belt look on the left
