Constructed of bronzed tombak, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel wreath, joined together at the bottom by a swastika, surrounding a toned eagles head, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, the reverse with a single visible rivet securing the eagle in position, with a barrel hinge and tapering horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, bearing hand etched presumed recipients initials AL,
