Constructed of silvered magnetic steel, the obverse bearing a raised SS style German national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika, situated within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of MEINE EHRE HEIT TREUE (MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY), the reverse with a catch and one of two claws emanating from a functional roller, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of manufacture by Overhoff & Cie, Ldenscheid,
