It was copied from an original Stahlhelm M1916 in the IMA collection and comes very close to the real thing

by the top portion of the chin strap

During WWI, some slight modifications were made to the canteen cover, the color changed slightly to a more drab appearance and, perhaps most notably, the eagle snap fasteners were changed to lift the dot fasteners.
