Henry William Bilbrough served with the 17th battalion county of London (Poplar & Stepney rifles) He served from 10 10 1915 in Theatres 1a (France) 2a (Macedonia) and 4b (Egypt) before returning to 1a (France) from 22 6 1918 to 1 3 1919. He was discharged on 31 3 19 as 'surplus to requirements due to injuries received'. He was reported wounded on 27 5 1916 whilst serving on the western front.
