Germany, Luftwaffe. An Afrikakorps Commemorative Badge in Silver, with Certificate of Authenticity United Republic of scuffs and gouges(Luftwaffe Afrikakorps Erinnerungsabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of silver, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a plaque bearing hand engraved dates 41 42, surrounding a map of Africa defaced by a stylized Luftwaffe eagle in mid flight, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, the reverse stamped with a silver content number of T. 800, otherwise unmarked,
