This is a very nice original 25 inch forend stock for the Model 1895 "Military Rifle". This model was the last lever action repeater developed for by John Browning for Winchester. It also was the strongest action ever used on a Winchester lever rifle, and it was designed to withstand the higher pressure power of smokeless powder.
