Prussia, State. An Order Of The Red Eagle Medal, Merit Medal, C.1900 Auction 305 mm in length inclusive(Rote Adler Orden Medaille). Instituted 12 June 1792 by Friedrich Wilhelm II. (1871 1908 Issue). Constructed of silver, the obverse with a raised cross patte with central Prussian imperial eagle, the reverse with monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm, unmarked, measuring 24. 71 mm (w) x 33. 16 mm (h), on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, and in near very fine condition.
