This is an excellent unissued example with a lovely metal shield attached to blue gray Luftwaffe (Air Force) wool cloth backing. The wool is in great shape, with just a bit of fading, and no mothing. The rear paper backing is about 65% complete, and has a great aged look. This example was never fitted to a uniform, and still retains the original antiqued zinc finish, with wear to the metal or oxidation. This is a
