The No. 1 Mk. 5 signal pistol closely follows the design of the classic WWI Brass Webley & Scott MkIII* flare pistol, with the distinctive flared muzzle. However instead of brass, for WWII Steel flare pistols were the norm, a much more sturdy metal when used in the field. This example has had the flared muzzle cut down to make the pistol smaller. This example is in good condition, with very nice aluminum grips with
