This is a very good condition Pre WWII German DLV Air Sports Association Belt Buckle (Koppelschlo). It is embossed with the DLV emblem on a pebbled central field, surrounded by a wreath. The rear of the buckle is unmarked. The swas (hook cross) on the front has black enamel in it, seen on some examples. The buckle is a very early pattern, of what we believe is dye stamped brass, which was the nickel plated and silver
