This Sword was on display for many years in a small museum in a display of Civil War edged weapons, none of which were displayed WITH scabbards. At some point all the scabbards were lost, destroyed or sold, and when the Museum was finally disbanded the scabbards could not longer be found. The sword measures 39" overall, and has an all brass hilt, with a "double scallop" cross guard, and a "D" hand guard enclosing the
