This is a fantastic, genuine American made Great War hand painted 5th Division helmet, which features a lovely painted red diamond insignia on the front. The 5th Division saw heavy combat in the St. Mihiel & Meuse Argonne Offensives. The paint is somewhat worn, and definitely shows use, but it has a great look and the colors are still easily discernible. The underside of the rim is stamped ZC 188 indicating it was
