This excellent condition mid war period produced SA Dagger was originally made with nickel plated fittings throughout. The crossguards and tang nut are made from alloy, most likely zinc based, and have been cleaned repeatedly, which has resulted in near total loss of the original nickel plating. Only the steel tang nut still has plating present The grip is a fine product having a fine reddish colored mahogany tone in
