This is a very nice condition late war German WWII Luftwaffe Ground Assault Badge badge in zinc, with the eagle as a separate cast piece that was later soldered on (not riveted like early examples). It looks to be made from zinc with a silver wash, which has tarnished and oxidized to a lovely dark patina. The details are still very well retained. Comes complete with a functional round wire pin back attachment, with
