Lycoris 'Red Flash' was created using Lycoris sprengeri and Lycoris radiata var. pumila, resulting in a Lycoris radiata like plant with a more rosy red flower. The 18" tall green stalks arise for us in late August (NC), topped with 6 narrow petaled scarlet red flowers that age to rosy red. There is a faint blue tip to the end of each petal quite unique and
