This is a genuine WWII issue Aluminum Model 1931 Canteen that is marked EF43 at the neck and comes complete with bakelite screw cap

There is the number 20457 marked on the top of the guard on the reverse

but no real wear through to the base metal

The condition is excellent but the photograph is rather faded and difficult to see
