Russia, Imperial. An Order Of The White Eagle, Breast Star Miniature Archive one measuring 202 mm (w)( ). Instituted 1 November 1705 by Augustus II. Incorporated into Russian orders 1831 by Tsar Nicholas I. Constructed of gilded silver with enamels, consisting of an eight pointed radiant star, the obverse with a central red and white enameled Cross Patte with gilt designs between the quadrants, within a blue enameled ring bearing a gilt inscription of PRO FIDE REGE ET LEGE (FOR FAITH, KING, AND LAW) in Latin script, the reverse plain, the twelve
