This is an interesting WWII ship telephone which still retains its original data plate. The phone retains its handset although the wire is in rough condition. During WWII the U. S. navy fielded various parts of dial telephones kept onboard the ship, and this is the Type F bulkhead telephone, which could be installed in any station except those on weather decks. The type F telephone is a non watertight unit designed
