Germany, Wehrmacht. A Feldgendarmerie Gorget, by F.W. Assmann & Söhne consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac central medallion with a Maltese(Wehrmacht Ringkragen fr Feldgendarmerie). Constructed of silver grey painted magnetic iron sheet metal, the obverse bearing a central raised Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, situated above a patinated and pebbled banner bearing a raised inscription of FELDGENDARMERIE, with the upper corners fastened with pebbled buttons, notably with all of these features retaining original intact luminous paint, the reverse retaining an intact
