Sarracenia catesbyi 4b unlike many of the moreSarracenia x catesbyi is a rarely offered, naturally occurring hybrid pitcher plant found in coastal plains regions from Virginia to South Carolina. Sarracenia x catesbyi (Sarracenia purpurea x Sarracenia flava) has features that are intermediate between the parents. The 15" tall brick red and yellow veined pitchers are held upright until they fill with water at which time they reflex to a 45 degree angle. In late spring before the new pitchers form,
