All parts completely correct with a good amount of the original finish present, with a lovely patina from decades of oiling and cleaning. The stock is in good antique condition, though does show wear. This is a very nice Spencer Model 1860 Civil War Carbine with Serial number of 39950, indicating late 1864 manufacture, marked on the receiver. Records
