It has leather backed scales and ornate ear roundels. It features a high comb and wonderfully ornate helmet plate with flaming bomb that reads: DEVOUEMENT SRS POMPIERS DE ST ULPHACE which translates to "Fire Stations in Saint Ulphance" and denotes which brigade in France. Saint Ulphace is a commune in the Sarthe department in the region of Pays de la
