Original U.S. WWII M1910 Canteen and Cup with M1942 Mounted Airborne Cover Hand Select:Yes Bruder LappOriginal Item: Very hard to find, this is one of the rarest of the U. S. WWII canteen covers. Originally designed as the M 1910 cavalry model, but was adopted by Airborne troops in WW2 since the carrier had an extra web reinforced belt loop incorporated beneath the belt mounting clip to facilitate the use of a tie down strap to prevent movement during parachute descent. Originally designed for use by cavalry troops, this cover has become closely
