Constructed of nickel silver, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, with a central swooping Luftwaffe eagle, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, with two visible rivets holding the obverse eagle in place, unmarked, measuring 45. 49 mm (w) x 52. 38 mm (h), weighing 30. 1 grams, accompanied by its period original case of issue, constructed of heavy
