A P1859 Ball Bag consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac inscribed "Dem Sieger im LuftkampfAn excellent example of this pattern designed for the Enfield Rifle Musket cartridges, for 10 loose paper cartridges, well marked with inside flap ink stamped with the typical British WD, War Department, ownership mark, as well as a pair of opposed Broad Arrows, indicating the bag had been sold out of service.
