This is a very interesting pioneer style hand saw kit used by the Australian armed forces during WW2. The actual kit was manufactured by Henry Disston & Sons out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. DISSTON USA can still be seen faintly marked underneath the eyelets on each side of the chainlink saw. The kit appears to have been issued but used slightly. The saw still has heavy amounts of packing grease present throughout
