This is a gorgeous British style pith helmet used by an officer of the Italian Anti Aircraft Artillery in Africa during World War II. The helmet was painted white with a badge for the Anti Aircraft Artillery attached to the front, which is now heavily worn with minor denting. The interior shows a now worn silk lining and makers label for Unione Militare and a size stamp of 58. While it is hard not to see that the
