An EM/NCO’s Breast Eagle, Uniform Cut-Off Example consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac demonstrating tarnishing of the frame(Heer Brustadler fr Mannschaften). Constructed of dark green rayon, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, affixed to an extract of field grey cloth cut off from a Heer servicemans tunic, unmarked, the eagle measuring 100 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
