James McCue is shown on the roll as a deckhand on the steamer "Northcote", as being entitled to the medal and clasp. Medal was noted in the roll as: "Medal and clasp returned to Headquarters address unknown." This medal was examined by a leading Canadian medal authority Eugene Ursual who confirmed medal correctly named and absolutely authentic without any
