These were only issued for Kriegsmarine use and have the Marinewaffenamt Eagle / M proof mark on the rear of the left barrel

It has the solid nickel mounts throughout all being heavily silver plated

All other papers are more modern printouts on the history of the ship

so we have not been able to locate this specific manufacturer or location

It likely saw use during World War I, and then post war was stenciled with the Art Deco Styled Lettering Logo of Rival Shoes, a popular shoe company in the late 1910s & 1920s. They began using this style of lettering in 1917, so this stenciling dates between then and the 1930s. This was likely done directly after the war for a victory
