This is definitely the best condition U. S. M1905 bayonet that we have ever seen. It is dated 1910, being made prior to WWI for the M1903 Springfield rifle. It is still in the original issued configuration, with the bright 16 inch blade, blued handle and cross guard, and wooden grip scales. Many of these were reissued for use in WW2, and were parkerized and even cut down, but this one was not, and is simply in
